Lincah class

By enrolling in our Lincah Class, toddlers can learn and explore traditional dances from across Indonesia. This class offers the perfect opportunity for children to appreciate cultural heritage while improving their motor skills through body movements that have been practiced for centuries. Our program focuses on enhancing children’s motor abilities, ensuring they develop better balance, flexibility, and endurance with the guidance of our skilled dance instructors.

Dancing offers numerous physiological and psychological benefits for children. It enhances sensorimotor skills such as rhythmic synchronization, balance, and movement reaction time. Due to its effectiveness in improving motor skills, dance is included in the national curricula of many countries, including those in Europe and Brazil. Physically, regular participation in dance increases flexibility, muscle strength, and balance, while also improving joint mobility, posture, cardiovascular health, and brain function.

In our Lincah Class, children also develop greater awareness of their surroundings as they learn to follow instructions and directions from their instructors. Moreover, dance allows children to express creativity and imagination through movement.

Indonesian traditional dances are renowned for involving the entire body, including the spine, stomach, hands, wrists, and head. Combining rhythm and movement has a profound impact on a child’s endurance, balance, and motor skills, all while fostering an appreciation for Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage.
